Hi All.

I live in Paignton Torbay and stumbled accross this site.

A keen but unsuccessfull shore angler thinking of taking up spear fishing.

Just having a look at the mo, with the idea of getting a few bits and having a go, as I have never tried anything like this I will be taking tentitive steps and lots of reading form the boards.

Cheers

hi busta, i live in exeter and first tried spearfishing with a polespear in the bahamas in 1981,the harbour wall in brixham and burton bradstock in dorset arent bad places to start, there is also a spearfishing club in weymouth, also they held the british championships at branscombe a few years ago near to where the msc napoli sank

Thanks FF.

Still on the scour for the mo getting an idea of what to do and how to do it. Certinly fasinating reading the posts.

Eyes on stalks at the mo!!
