hi , just running with some ideas and would appreciate some feedback... i have a cressi commanche and aim down the side of the gun so was thinking maybe i could mount a small dive torch on the top of the gun for hole fishing?
its just is it a good idea? what torch is small enough? i could prefab a bracket prob fairly easily. i wouklnt be using it at night just for extra light in the day ?

any input appreciated!

If you put it on top the rubbers will prob hit the light as they tend to curve forward on recall. I have only seen lights on the bottom of the gun except on air guns.
There is also the small lights that go on the mask

thanks for the feed back by the sound of the description of the recoil you mean mounting it on the front ? i was thinking of the top of the trigger housing on the back would that still be effected by the recoil?

That should work but my only concern would be that the fish will see your gun and be spooked. I have never tried it and think it is worth a go
