Toronto area Sept 3-4, 2009

I'll be in Toronto Thursday and Friday and would love to get in the water. Anyone need a buddy? I'll have a car. Any suggestions of good spots within a short (~ 1 hour) drive? Anywhere with decent visibility? I'm not a spearo, I just want to get under water.
 
I'm not so fimilar with the waters around Toronto but from what I hear its not too great.

There is a club in Toronto and they meet weekly to practice so if your looking for that, its there.

I am from roughly 2:30 hours north of Toronto and the waters there are fairly good. Basically if you hit Georgian Bay you should be good. But if your looking for amazing waters you need to check out Tobermory. I swam around with my mouth open because I couldn't believe fresh water could be that clear!
