Veni Vidi Wiggins! Good to see the maillot jaune leading out the sprinter; it would have been only too easy for him to sit up for that last lap! And spectacular efforts from Froome and Cav!
Good day all round!!! Now for the Olympics...

And so the fat lady has (literally) sung.

Congrats to Wiggens and Team Sky.:thankyou :thankyou :thankyou

Also to Sagan and Voeckler.

Vive le Tour!!!

Its incredible how Sky manages to make it happen time after time. I thought the break might finally stay away today, but they reeled them in just in time.

Where the hell do they find all those French girls with such long legs? Even standing a step lower, they were as tall as most of the riders. Standing on the same level as Wiggins, one of the last ones on his left was as tall as he was. This is a subject that I would like to continue studying.

My wife and I have faithfully watched every morning. We're going to be experiencing Tour Withdrawal for the next few days.

So do you watch all the stage or just the podium awards?

"Where the hell do they find all those French girls with such long legs?"
What do you mean 'long legs'? I checked each and every one, as close as possible, and they barely reach the ground.

True, but they go clear up to their butts.

Most of the French girls were found in France, but I have it on good authority that some of them were, in fact Himalayan.

Must be the same place they find the MotoGP girls.

Dani Pedrosa makes it only to about underarm height, even when he stands on the top step of the podium. Potentially not a bad height to be at, but it must be weird getting flowers from a girl that looks as of she can roll you up and stuff you into her handbag...

Froome has been linked to a rumoured Astana move. In which case Wiggin's won't go into next years tour as a favourite. Big changes in 3 weeks hey?

In a Uk interview Froome said that he intended to stay with Sky for the next season at least... I think Sky will be sure to give him some glory, and the team will support that.

The last interview I saw with Wiggins he seemed to be syaing that if Froome stayed with Sky he (Wiggins) would support him all the way becoming number 2.

Apparently Froome will lead the vuelta. Stupid thing is, they had to lose last years one just to figure this out? Still, got to say it, Wiggins tour talent on his own? Lacking, heavily. His team? brilliant.

But Wiggins can gain massive amounts of time in the ind. tt, and it's time that matters...

Not when you have the issue of losing 15+ in the mountains. You don't see Tony martin or Cancellara or co winning the tour do you?

I know what you mean, but I guess your team mates can help you in the mountains, the TT is a solo effort...

Haha I should note, I don't really have any idea what I'm talking about (in case you hadn't guessed!!), I'm just trying to think of explanations for Skys choices. I think the genuine reason for Wiggins focus was to get a Brit in yellow in Paris...

I thought it was nice that they had Wiggins start the opening ceremony.

It was. I thought it was CRAP how Cav blamed Australia for his loss in the road race. Really? because all I saw was pure Sky arrogance not chasing down the breakways when they went up the road. What a cock. Oh well, We'll see how world popular Wiggins is when his pointless arrogance bcomes a bit more well known.

Are you referring to the Olympic road race today? I watched it to the end of the riding, but I didn't stay for the awards and interviews. How did he blame Australia?

But of course there was no Sky, but maybe you meant GB?
