Hey All,

I live in California and will be heading to Sydney -> Cairns -> Byron Bay to Dive/Surf. Would love to be able to connect with some divers and get in the water. I will be ther Nov 14-Dec 6.
Would you be willing to show me around your dive spots?

Respectfully

Duncan

Im not in Sydney any more, but usual spots people spear at would be south Maroubra (favourite spot for surfing in Sydney) and Little Bay. Be careful with places whith is high foot traffic no doubt somebody will be negative about how you are destroying the environment Etc. Maybe go into ADRENO in Sydney and they could tell where is best locally in Sydney.

Byron bay is fairly zoned - Julien Rock is beautiful for free dive/Snorkel though

Hope this helps

P.s they are restricted cause they are such main tourist areas
