i've been on holiday before with my speargun only to find the shaft got bent in transit by the baggage system/handlers,was gutted it ruined the holiday,so i was wondering if anyone knew of a hawaian sling type with a takedown spear/paralyzer tip setup,a bit like the jbl traveller slingshaft,or should i not be so facetious & just take the sling off a jbl & use that, does anyone know who the best person on this forum is to talk to about it

Whenever i travel, i'm taking the spears in a padded hard tube. Stick the Fragile on it, and hopefully u won't miss any fish later.

cheers

When I bought some shafts over the net they came strapped to a long piece of lightweight wood. I kept the wood and did the same thing when I travelled. Just stuck it in the gunbag.

You can order plastic spear tube in any spearo shop or just nip down to your local B&Q and buy one.
