Been pondering this for awhile now, so thought I'd ask the advice of the more experienced on here.

I'm visiting family over New Year in North West Wales. I've been contemplating going for a bit of a snorkel come freedive around Anglesey and was thinking of going for a shore dive at Trearddur Bay as I'm told it's probably the best around for a shore dive.

Anyway, has anyone been snorkelling/freeediving anywhere near Trearddur Bay around this time of year? Just wondering on water temperature, marine life about etc? Any advice welcome ... even if it's to stay out of the water. :head

I don't ownb a dry suit at all, which will probably bve a better idea, but do have a 5mm wetsuit, hood, gloves, and boots. Wouldn't normally be thinking about open water at this time of year, but haven't been in the water for ages and really need my fix ;)
