hi all
I am looking at building my own trigger mech as part of my wooden speargun project.
Does anyone have a standard mechanism drawing/ that I can work off or use?
I do have some dimensions to work with, but want to speed things up by not having to test mechanisms.
Any advice, tips and support will be greatly appreciated.

cheers

There are quite a few post on here relating to DIY mechs but even the pro gun builders prefer to buy something so critical to safe operation!
Try searching via Google for deeper blue post... works better than our own search button!

I buy my mech based on the individual gun.... one band euro.... 6 band tuna etc....

I made myself a trigger

They look good, do you think they will be safe? have you managed to harden the mating edges?

Thank you
I put the trigger on my gun, I use a year, random shots were not. The mechanisms are made of stainless steel AISI304, it is not mine hardening
