Trigger mech ?

Hi all, After many missed fish, some of them, really nice!, I've decided to make my own, 1.3 / 1.5 mtr, wooden, "Band gun". Although I've looked on "The Web" I cant find a good "Trigger Mech" for it. It not only has to be easily capable of taking "Two" set's of 16 mm rubber's, but also have a very light "release" pressure. I'm thinking that this will cost around 125€, alone, but it will be worth it!. Can anyone recommend one?. Thanks for your time...Geoff.

Although i cant find the trigger i put in my own gun , i did come across this trigger which looks like a very nice product and a eyecatching spec compared to many others on the market[although ive heard no reviews and have no exp of using this]. Also a lifetime guarantee which cant be bad!!

alexander trigger mech is the lightest pull/ high power ratio on the market. the kitto m6 is on par also. the only other choice is neptonics systems. that is what i use because of ease of installation. all of these three are awesome! the alexander triggers are what you see in all the fine custom high end guns: sea sniper, hamilton, andre, custom internet spearguns, these are the finest custom guns on the market. do what i do, copy the best. and those are the best. these triggers are meant to have an easy pull with up to 9 rubbers! on huge tuna guns. and have smooth pulls even at maximum load. your 4/ 16mm rubbers wouldnt be a problem at all.they work awesome on smaller guns also. plus the diameter of your rubbers isnt what makes the power. its the length x thickness RATIO. you actually get out of a band, what you put IN a band. if you exert 80lbs of pressure on a band it snaps back at 80 lbs whether it is 16 mm 18mm or 20mm the " snap back" is so close to the same in all three. you can buy the neptonics trigger from josh at his website, the custom internet spearguns guys have the m6 and alexander himself sell his triggers on the website of the same name. . whatever you do, dont use a plastic based trigger mech, those are iherently weak good luck

jtk, Thanks so much for your much appreciated "info". I had heard of this "Alexander" trigger, & your comment's are exactly what I was hoping to hear. I will buy one, as I want the absolute "best" there is available. Hunting is getting harder, there really does seem to be, "less fish" around. When I do come across one, I don't want my equipment to "let me down", too many time's, for one reason or another, ( jammed trigger, tangled line, etc) I have lost it, due to a "malfunction", well, no more!. I'm going to build the "Ultimate" gun!. You went to some trouble to give me this advice, thank you, & thank everyone else that responded.
