Trip to the Keys

Hey everyone,

I'm taking a trip with my wife and some friends to go camping at the Sugraloaf KOA on Memorial Day weekend. What are the best places nearby for snorkeling and freediving from shore? Is it worth the money for a snorkel charter out of Key West? I'd also like to do some spearfishing while I'm down there if anyone can help me out with where to go
 
Spearboard has a section dedicated to the keys.

Watch out for Monitors and Pythons while camping! :eek:
