Hey, I'm trying to find a carribbean destination for a family vacation. It has been planned for the first week in July. I'm looking for a spot with the following:

1. 82+ water temp
2. 80'+ vis
3. 4 star or better resort hotel located on the beach
4. On site diving facilities
5. World class scuba diving (dive charters thru hotel)
6. Blue water hunting (dive charters thru hotel)
7. Family activities (watersports, scenic tours, etc.)

It's been unbelievably hard to find any place with all of these features. If any one knows of a spot that does, in the carribbean or else where, please let me know.

Tobago, but you will have to pay out for blue water spearing. A friend of mine has been very successful spearing from the shore. Defenatly top hotels & good coral. Lots of dive & fishing boats.

Thanks for the response guys!

I really want to do some bluewater hunting on this trip.

If I couldn't do any hunting though I was thinking about the Cayman Islands. They are suppossed to be pretty sweet. They have modern infrastrucure, white sandy beaches, and great diving. My family also like the Cayman's as an option.

Do you guys know of any good hotels or dive operations in tobago or the Cayman islands? Personally, I don't care about the accomodations. I all I want is good diving. My family, however, want a really classy hotel.

Any suggestions?:)
