This is the wreck of the Yamagiri Maru.
The Yamagiri Maru was luanched in 1938. After 3 years of service it was requisitioned in 1941 for auxiliary transport.
On the first day of Operation Hailstone she was hit once but did not sink.
The next day she was atacked and hit by a 1000lbs and a 500 lbs bomb. One of the bombs took out the bridge super structure.
