Fiberglassed balsa boards for spearing big tuna. Measures 27" X 17" X 4". Made of 9 lb density endgrain balsa. Includes harness. Have about a cubic foot of volume. These boards have been tried and tested down in Panama for large yellowfin tuna (www.deepfins.com). $350 each.

Interesting to see a balsa used for a spearing float. Could open up all kinds of possibilities for shapes and storage. What's the advantage of balsa over polystrene or rubber-foams, like wall insulation boards and EVA - greater rigidity?
