I've been shown that underwater infrared cameras complete with battery/camera/monitor are only about $130 off ebay for this model(http://www.atlantiscamera.com/produ...s/AUW-502.html).

I bought one and it's coming in the mail. My idea is to attach it to my kayak to hunt for lobster and halibut which can't be picked up via sonar and don't move very much unless molested. Anyone else try this? Seems like a great way to go freediving in new places!

Anyone else ever try something similar?
