Hi, I do allot of night dives and am finding it really hard to get good footage.

Does anyone know of an underwater torch that it really wide angled and more diffuse for night filming ? I need to illuminate a wide area without over exposing it. Of course it also has to be reasonably priced I`m afraid.

I use two lights:
PHAD-8 for the sea (video [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7kKPkvvS-E]YouTube - Night snorkeling in Kerry, Ireland with PHAD-8 from Scubarpo. Watch in HD![/ame]) - 250Euro.
Home-made 6v 60W (halogenic bulbs, not waterproof) for freshwater - [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9XXo0f00qY]YouTube - Finding Nemo. HD. Please read more info.[/ame] - about 30Euro total.
Home-made is flood light, PHAD-8 is spot light but I had a diffuser.
2 days ago I used PHAD-8 again with new diffuser and it was working like a 100% flood light (I have video but need to to edit it).

Just for an idea, check out the lightning sequence in unirdna's post in "Bahamas shakedown" thread, Freediving Stories.
