Underwater times in traditional apnea divers in Asia

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Very interesting article. I was surprised at the short dive times and surface intervals, especially for Phillipino spearos. The average seems too short for effective use of bottom time. I'd like to see a frequency distribution of time and depth. Could it be that the divers were spotting fish from the surface and did not need much dive time?
