as far as I understood, the mission was stopped because of a serious incident : the "parachute" got stucked at 50 m and the diver had to swim upwards with the power od his fins...

No it wasn't stoped. That was the test dive and thy tried it out to 50 where the baloon didn't open so the diver finned up to the surface with no problems. They repaired the sled and were diving on. Tom didn't dive the first 5 days coz of some ear problems and the record dive was canceled due to bad weather. He made 122m in training. They should update the page. I hope they do it soon.

I did not understand very well..

What record was Tom supposed to break ?

no-limits ?

variable weight ?

I suppose 122 m was no-limits, isn't it ?

Yes I think it was no-limits and I don't tink there were serious record atempts, but they were trying to break the german record as far as know.

There is an update under "logbuch" on http://www.missiontoblue.de/ .

Tom did 80m no-limits on the first dive and 100 on the second. Crazy depths for the first and second dive. The 122m were also in no-limits and done as a qualification dive for the record atempt that should be 2 days later. It was all done under judges supervision. Sven did 65m FIM with a cold or a bronchitis also a great performance.

On the record day the current was too strong so they broke off the event and went diving with doplhins... avesome.

In plan is already a new "mission to blue" for the next year.
