hi everyone!

I returned from Croatia yesterday where 2 days ago my girlfriend suffered a serious jellyfish sting. We're now in the U.K. And 24 hours after the bite severe blistering has appeared and inflammation and swelling have started spreading. We're currently being treated in a hospital in the U.K. and the docs are treating it like a bacterial infection but it doesn't seem to be working and they're not sure what else to do.

Has anyone seen a kind of sting like this before or know of any experts we could get in touch with?? I've attached a picture to show you just how bad this is!!

Any information would be very greatly received!

Im pretty sure it was one of these. Latin name is actiniaria. Tell doctors, but there is nothing much they can do. Except cold cream from aloe vera or something antiseptic.

It went so bad because she didnt cleaned off remainig microscopics spikes...
