Hello to everyone,

I was wondering what are the opinions and suggestions, for no more than 20 - 30m in depth dives using a security rope. By security rope I mean a rope attached to the diver for an emergency case where the diver can be pulled from someone on the surface if something goes wrong during the dive (e.g. blackout). Has anyone ever done it or is doing it ? I know that there is an old thread (year: 2002) on the matter but I did not see any definitive answers plus the thread is quite old.

Thank you
