Hi guys in and around Maputo,

I just saw a notice today at Clube Naval about their Spearfishing / Apnea section holding a meeting next Friday at 19:30.

Anyone else going? I hadn't heard about the section before and I would love to join some organised training. Hope to meet some DB members there...

Hi Eva,

How is it going?

Any news on the trainning from Emiliano?

We are going out spearing on Saturday, if you want to join us please let us know so we can arrenge things...

Best regards,

Dias

Oh, just eating and working too much, so I really look forward to getting back in the water. I am going to Tofo this weekend, but would love to come with you next time. Choices, choices... :)

No news on training yet, but I will try to get in touch with him next week, hear what he has in mind. Have a good hunt, talk to you soon!

Hi Evita

I have just returned from 4 weeks in Tofo at Casa Barry, the weather was pretty bad most of the time, with the odd good day, loads of current up there. We were trying to finish a documentary on Manta Rays but alas they had moved on for greener pastures, probably wherever there are less SCUBA divers.

Shame, that sounds disappointing. Are the Mantas moving away for the long term, do you think? There seemed to be a lot of them on the reefs around Tofo when I dived there 2003-2004, but I have only seen 1 Manta on the two weekend-trips I have had so far this year... I hoped it was just bad luck.

So where will you finish the documentary?
