ok so heres the situation, I have some time off and I will be solo, from Dec. 27th to Jan 9th...thinking of doing something cool..Ideas are ranging all the way from Spearfishing in Florida to Skiing somewhere in the US, but am open...anyone care to chime in for some cool ideas?:friday

Live aboard "Indigo" does dive with dolphin trips in the summer, outstanding, see Monkeyhatforks videos, I think they are down south of the Caico's diving with hump back whales in the winter. A great trip if the timing allows.

I strongly suggest to take your vacation in Casper, Wyoming. Plenty of events there! You'll happen to watch Russian Ballet "Nutcraker", the Harlem Globe Trotters and lots and lots of more and more crazy events!

I never thought of casper wyoming to be honest im trying to get something going for miami...maybe i get a chance to try spearing in the US finally! working on firming up these plans now....idea would be to go spearing for 4 days by RIB from Miami...hopefully catch something good and escape the DC winter at the same time

I second the motion of spearing some fat American fish. Casper Wyoming can wait (but you'll miss the Harlem Globe Trotters...).
You can take Connor's suggestion seriously (the boat trip). And bring on your Wong. Yet had any chance to shoot that marvel or is it still a virgin?

I second the dolphin expeditions indigo liveaboard, and as it happens they are running 2 weeks of dolphin trips around new years at a heavy discount for an animal charity, everything is provided for you, they cater to freedivers , entire crew are excellent freedivers and bimini is just a 20min flight from fort lauderdale you cant go wrong especially if your traveling solo

The dolphins trip would be on my list too, but for price, convenience and flexibility, you could also just drive down to Key West, there is some great spearing/reef there too.
