I’m looking for knowledgeable input on value and background for a vintage scuba diving powerhead chambered in .308.

Markings on the body:

SEA HORNET EQUIPMENT

WORLD PATENT PENDING

This is a commercially manufactured Sea Hornet powerhead, with professional machining, threaded sections, and knurled components consistent with period diver-defense equipment.

• Condition: Excellent. Clean, straight, fully intact, no corrosion, no damage, no repairs.

Provenance:

This powerhead came from my father’s personal gear. He served with the U.S. Marshals Service Special Operations Group, where he was operationally qualified as a diver and also served as a diving instructor, including open-water and dive-rescue training. He was also a Marine Corps Recon Scout Swimmer earlier in his career. This was found among his diving and operational equipment.
