Folks, I m looking for any way to swim in 25m pool, preferably Bonsor or Burnaby, but pretty much anything wil do. Vanapneist pool sessions in UBC are so far and few between, once in two weeks and I am out of town on most of those days.

I guess finding dive buddy on Saltspring would be out of question :crutch

I think UBC is the only one that allows it in Vancouver, and that's only because Kirk and Mandy came and gave a session with the staff there.

Make sure wherever you dive that you have a buddy! I'll probably be starting training more regularly in the new year, every second Wed is not enough for me, so maybe we can meet up and train more often?

Hey, funny to come across this post randomly.

1. I'm a vanapneist member and really enjoy the wed. sessions at ubc. I would really like to do more though. If you get together for more sessions let me know!

2. Actually, I'll be on Saltspring over the summer and would really enjoy having a dive buddy. Keep in touch?

Cheers

Im also gonna try to be more active in the pool sessions in the new year we dive in the ocean almost every weekend if your interested

Keep in touch?

you bet. I don't have wetsuit yet and pretty much limited to pool training for now.

Jenny, if UBC staff has been thouroughly instructed, does that mean we can have training session there alone?

Why can't we have a little bit of get together in any other pool, if there are more than one diver providing safety to each other?

mainly because the pools dont want the risk.if you have ever watched someone have a blackout or samba looks really scary, freaks people out that have no idea whats going on.
