I have been invited to go to Vancouver for a week, next week, by a buddy of mine that works for the Airlines. Please help. I can't afford to spend a fortune. The ticket is only going to cost me $100- $150 US.
Thanks

vancouver is a packpackers heaven. do a web search annd I'm sure you;ll find lists of the hostels throughout the city. most are <$20 a night.

a lonely planet guide may help as well.

do you intend to dive?

Yes I do plan to dive, I thought I asked for suggestions for diving but after reading my own post, looks like I was in to much of a hurry. Please tell me where to dive also.
As for as hotels/Hostels I will be traveling w/ my wife and our 6 week old baby and my wife probably would prefer a Motel/ Hotel.
Does any one on here live there or near?
