Hi All,

Does anyone here use a Spearo Venom Carbon gun? I am looking for a recommendations. On the website it looks well structured and is not over expensive - any comments before I commit?

Thanks

Singleshot

Never tried a Venom but I had a gun of different make (Devoto) with the same handle that's mounted on Venoms: all I can say it's good, comfortable and wisely designed.
Carbon barrell? It doesn't help so much on short guns (and I assume you wont' buy anything longer than a 90 for average hunting in Guernsey). It will be just a few grams lighter in weight than an alluminium gun. But if you like the carbon gun and you love the idea of buying something more than ordinary, ok get it and enjoy.

Thanks very much... was planning on the 75cm version as is easier to transport on a motorbike!

Singleshot I have used a Venom 75 from Dave for over 2 years with NO problems.
Can’t recommend them highly enough, first class starter gun.
Go for the carbon with 18mm bands and it’ll do you proud.
