hello guys, i have few questions about freediving
i was able to hold my breath (still) up to 2 minutes few years ago . i did it just once, in taxi for laugh. i did not practice any form of breath-hold or snorkeling but was doing sport on daily basis.
since than i had health accident 5 minor surgeries and have almost no sport so far, (but trying to come back tho) . and now i barely can hold my breath up to 1:10 =( (still) . so does this make sense? i mean not doing sport makes breath holding worse?
Meanwhile , i've started to dive exactly that time both freedive(maybe 1m deep lol) and scuba dive(down to 30m).
and i noticed that i can hold my breath underwater pretty much same time or even longer ,but still can't dive deeper than 4m .
i live in very distant and very cold place , so i only have like maybe 4 weeks of swimming +diving since than.
i'm going to take freediving courses this year (maybe next year) , is there something i can to improve my breath holding until that?
Just did 2:10 breath hold (still) . that question about sport is irrelevant.
thank you guys for advises
