Video of Deeper Blue's Kelp Princess Coaching my 6:01 static

Last video on the page is the last minute of Kelp Princess coaching me on my 6:01 static.

I told her before I did my static to make 100% sure I came up clean, because I needed the points for the competition. I told her I'd be coming up around 5:00 or 5:30 max to make sure I was clean and get a white card. She was trying to bring me up like I asked her to, but I was having none of it.

Thanks Kelp Princess I'd have never gotten a white card without you reminding me what the heck I was supposed to do.

The other videos are from Formula 3 Freediving and the Deja Blue Competition. F3F was a blast!

Hi Ted, nice performance, close but not over the edge :)

I think it's a good thing a coach asks a diver to come up a bit before it's too late. It appears thoughts or perception go a bit slower and there is a delay between hearing and acting upon it. How much before ? Well it depends on knowing your divers' signs, and the reaction-time of the diver.

Good job to you both!

Great to see some faces to the DB names :)

i am proud to say i've coached 3 of my buddies each to personal bests and all clean!
:D

joe to 6:00, ted to 6:01, and hawk to 7:06

but a coach is nothing without some good talent rofl

let me return the compliment to ted, who was fantastic to have as a depth coach in the ocean. not to mention he won the whole comp!

oh to be back in the big blue of cayman.....

Grace,

Let us know how you 100ft dive goes.. Looks like you are going about it the right way.

Ren from Evolve Freediving(the guy that made the Defending the Vandenburg) put together a video highlighting my dives from Cayman. It has the static clip I put up earlier but now it is in a well put together movie. This video also highlights my favorite other talent guitar playing. I think I'm a better guitar player than a freediver ;)

Its the first video on my media page.
