[VIDEO] The Freediver Swims

Interesting project.

I must confess that I've not be able to appreciate the video(s), I do not get the value of seeing a diver swim multiple screens.
A video of a diver swimming staying stationary in frame would interest me more because this would have less visual distractions. Like a clean ballet. I found the lens barrel distortion distracting. I think a DSLR with a nice wide angle lens, would help.
I would consider a deep pool , have the diver swim along the bottom, wear a shiny suit (better shapes), and my camera on a wood board, looking down from the surface in a stable way, with me finning it forward, or using a line and puly from the side to trail the diver from above.

Thanks for sharing!

Hi Kars,

Thanks for the critique!

The value for myself was to test some auto scrolling code but I didn't implement and test myself with video cuts within a video editing software, to get the timing right. I did have the idea of following the diver from above with a moving crane so that one video would also be used rather than multiple.

I like your other ideas :)
