I always loved the opening sequence of vikings and especially the title tune.
So when Frank Bittner and I went freediving in our very viking lake walchensee this week, it seemed like the natural thing to combine the two. (the lake has even been used as a location to film viking movies and there is a full sized viking ship prop on the shore)

I am sure the vikings dived in those fjords. Sure of it. :)

Hi Susanne,

Thanks for sharing the video, I love to see real smiles on people faces, being happy in the water!

Do you know of the 'Viking challenge'? It's freediving in cold water with only a bathing suit and mask.
Give it a try :) it's lovely if you prepare well and do 1 dive.
