i also have loads of middle east stamps in mine... but don't get stopped - maybe because you are male.. also most of the immi officers i came across in the US are hispanic and they do enjoy a nit-nat in their language 
so far I have been down to my skivvies in many wonderful airports in the US and Canada, I think they just hate me

Sounds like you made the alert list.... rofl
My last several flights have included a trip to the extra-special bag check where they unpack the entire bag and examine it in minute detail, including my Pentax camera, peering through the viewfinder and examining the buttons. Maybe they are suspicious of 35mm cameras, or I am an unsavory-looking character . No strip searches thank goodness.
