It looks like I will be going for a visit back home (Denver) this August. I was wondering if anybody could recommend some good dives, prefer easy to-get-to high lakes? I'm only in town for a week so I know that a dive after a good hike would equal a good headache. I would love to do Brainard/Long above Ward but that would kill me or a least not be much fun.

Thanks for your help,

Derek

Looks like another untapped resource. I know that for several months a year this state is not freediver friendly but really am I going to be the first to freedive some of these lakes?
Well I will write back as to how things go, in case anyone is interested. This could end up being a fun adventure; of course dare I say by my self, oh well.

Hey Derek, give me a shout since you are in the Willamette valley - I'm in Eugene...
