Volusia Blue Spring (Orange City, Florida) has reopened to swimmers and divers. The run is still closed, but the head spring is open. Visability currently is not that great. The water is cloudy, even in the vent. It is suspected that a colapse has occured deeper in the system, but no one knows for sure. If it is a colapse, then the water should clear in a week or so. It already has cleared a little. For further condition updates, check out the thread "conditions at Volusia Blue Spring". There you can find updated reports on the conditions. Please, if you post a report there, keep it short and to the point. If you want to discuss the conditions further, you may do so here or start a new post. Also, read Jeff's origanal post, so that you know what that thread is intended for.

Ok, Who wants to dive Blue Springs? Saterday, March 17, there will be a group of freedivers gathering at the Park. We invite everyone to join us. Hopefully the water will be clear by then. I will get there that Friday, and will be camping through Sunday. If you don't know any of the regular freedivers there, just look for wetsuits and long blade fins. If you get there before I hit the water, you can reach me on my cell at 386-801-9697. I hope to see you all there. Dive safe and have fun.

Brian
