The weekend of the 7th in august I'm planning on going to vortex springs and probly Morrison springs in Florida to do some diving and training! I want see if the cardio work I'm doing is paying off for my diving vacation that's around the corner. I'm going to take the 6th off and drive down to dive that afternoon, dive Saturday and sunday morning then drive home. I'm going to camp at Vortex and just sleep in the back of my jeep.

Anyone interested in some diving that weekend? Let me know I would like to have some company and a spotter if possible!

If your interested in diving the area, drop me a line. I live 9 miles from Vortex. I like to dive Morrison and Cypress as often as I can. I was by Morrison Friday, water was up. I will probably canoe to Cypress next week

I'm familiar with Morrison, but what is Cypress? What kind of depth can you get to without swimming a long way horizontal or getting completely out of surface light?

Cypress About the size of Morrison. Only it is cystal clear all year any day. At one time there was a dive operation there. Now it is only available by water, we use a canoe. It is the clearest spring you will ever dive
