Walking fins

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

The problem is when you are too fat and cannot bend sufficiently over your belly (especially with the BCD on) to put the fins on.

No, seriously, I can imagine plenty of situations when the fins are quite practical - for example when you need to wade through shallow water, or walk out of the water frequently; when you have full hands when entering water; when you need to be ready to jump to the water quickly; etc. There are other amphibian fins though too. I have some of them (including these Omega Flipfins) in my Collection of Weird Fins
 
I think I look strange enough without them. They look like fancy dress "Transformers" apparel!
 
Not being a 'tanker', it does seem to me that they make better sense for our SCUBA friends. I just put the fins on at the surf line and back into the water. It's getting out that's the challenge!
