Hi there and welcome! I'm also new here.Hello to all deeperblue forum members!
New member to the forum here, but can't wait to share knowledge and experiences with fellow spearos and spearas from around the world's Seas and Ocean’s.
Safe dives to you all!
That's great to hear! There are some nice fishing spots especially on the northern part of the Merambello gulf(Accessible only with good weather). For both shallow and deep spearfishing and also a few good ones within the middle and southern part of the gulf. What spearfishing technique do you like to practice?Hey! I'm on the west near kissamos!
I've never been in your region - good fishing over there?
Thank you very much! Welcome to you too!Hi there and welcome! I'm also new here.
The cape, the very tip of the gulf? I can imagine that almost being like a spearfisher's adventure park with the waves from the northern winds bordering the always calm waters of the bay. There are some nice fishing spots especially on the northern part of the Merambello gulf(Accessible only with good weather).

Hello Leander and thank you for your welcome message! Yes indeed the northern tip under the Aforesmenos lighthouse is a very interesting spot with a variety of different fish species to choose from. Good rocky bottom.. Offcourse due to it's location it is good to approach it with a boat on a calmer day, as the road access down there is only possible with an offroad bike (road barrier on top due to the wind generator park) and can be a pain with all the gear on the backpack. I know Chora Sfakion very well as I hop on to Daskalogiannis or Samariá on my way to Gavdos every year... It is my necessary camping and fishing therapy trip after the hectic work season. Sometimes I also go from palaióhora.Welcome Nautilus! Nice to see this sudden increase of Cretan spearos and divers here.

I spear mostly the south coast, from Chora Sfakion to Tsoutsouros... Litter-picking lionfish and searching for this elusive dentex.
