Hi guys, do you ever watch a diving video whilst doing your statics? I was watching some freediving videos but it almost seemed as if it made me think too much and I struggled more.

Or maybe listening to music like Enya to relax and zone off?

Videos i watch purely for technique.

Music I have really considered being a part of my routine and training and possibly even competition in the future, will see.

If you want to listen to music, search the genres, ambient, soundscape, and post-rock.

I have found I can relax listening to post-rock bands and when listening internally whilst in the pool, to me alot of this genre encapsulates water very well.

I spent the whole of last year researching these genres and can happily pass on some bands and songs that may help.

I listen to the radio, or at least enjoy the general noisy background. I use a radio program where all they ever do is talk with a maximum of one song per hour. The mumbling and the sometimes not so interesting topics help with relaxation. But somehow, even if it is interesting I don't remember a thing afterwards.
