Today was a good swim. The water was a little warm for my 8/7 but the cloud cover helped. 2706 yards, 1.34 nautical of shoreline. Wind was around 10 kt. At high water allows me to swim under the trees. Very cool. I normally swim 1.5 nautical every 3 rd day gives me rest to let the fatigue dull.
I have something to maybe discus is what I think of as water shear. At slack tide, crossing some open water and looking 15 ft. down, the bottom is slack and still. I'm fighting the first 18-24 inches of water because of the wind. Sometimes using my arms to make my only forward movement.
