Hi guys,
Just looking for some info from more experienced divers out there. I live in Victoria, Australia, so water temps range from about 13-20 Celsius /55-60 Fahrenheit throughout the year. I've heard some people say that they dive all year (except for winter) in 3.5mm 2 piece suits, while others have said 5mm for water temps under 20c/60f. Obviously I'll dive more in the warmer months of the year, so just wondering what people would recommend for a wetsuit thickness? I've usually just borrowed surfing wetsuits from friends, but they'll probably start to get cold. I did feel warm enough in those during summer though. I was leaning towards the 3.5mm, but would love some feedback from other users before I purchase something.
As a side note, any tips from Aussies as to where to buy online would be great, our retailers are a joke.
Thanks!
