Well... We tied the knot yesterday. Planned our own wedding here on maui... I know... how cliche... Well anyway we picked the date Feb 28 pretty randomly. I would have to say that someone somewhere had our backs. The 27th was blowing 40-50 knots here up at our house where the wedding was. My bride was a bit nervous and started making calls for an alternate location.
Did my best to calm her down and convinced her that it wasnt going to be a problem. The weather the next day would be perfect "I had a feeling." Now whether I believed that or not isnt so important. The important thing is that when I woke up yesterday morning (the day of the wedding) I went outside to meet the guys delivering the tables this is what I was met with....
I knew right then that the day would be perfect.... and it was. The wind died down to almost nothing. The rain burned off and the whole event panned out perfectly.
This was truly a glorious wedding gift and feels even more special since we woke up this morning to even stronger winds, 60 knot gusts,
One day in either direction and it would have been a disaster.
Anyway thought I would share it with my friends in the diving world.
Aloha
