Since i am just starting out freediving..i will be using my 7mm scuba wetsuit before investing in a freedive one. I am wondering how much weight i will need to get neutral at 10m....i remember hearing 1lb per mm.....is that true?

thats funny...im 5'10" 145 and i use 24 lbs too in a 7mm farmer john...i will find what works...thx!!!!!
Unless you're very skinny or very fat, body density is close to sea water. Lung size, amount of neoprene and the type all have a bigger affect on buoyancy. If you take off about seven units of fat, you take off one unit of lead at any depth. The same 7 to 1 ratio is close for feet/pounds at 30-50 feet.
alright...my new belt only came with 7 lbs, so i will definetly have to get more.....thanks for the info guys
