weird but good way of cooking fresh king george

this is an mad recipe,
But you probably have to be from western Australia to understand me
1. Few good size king george whiting
2. big fig leaves
3. a good lemon
4. Butter and olive oil

Remove the stalk from the leaves by cutting a v shape in the end and oil the leaves well. clean and scale the fish and but a little bit of butter in the cavity. Put the fish on the leaves and give them a good squeeze of lemon. roll them each up in a leaf, doesn't matter if the head and tail are sticking out a bit. Put them on a hot charcoal grill of a bbq grill
unrap, enjoy and celebrate in this beautiful aussie fish.

Nothing weird about that! Some do it with banana leaves, some do it with fig etc.

yeah i know, banana leaves are used pretty extensively. Fig leaves on the bbq are awesone, they keep the KGS moist as and they get a bit of a smokey flavour, cant forget this one.
 
Thanks Sealdiver, I'll stick to Alfoil. Do you eat the figleaf or give it back to Adam when you've finished?
