Weird situation for me.

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Take the muzzle off and gently squirt some expandable foam into the tube. Whatever extrudes, cut off and then reattach the muzzle. save up your pennys and buy a Mako later--Dano the owns the company is a champ and has supurbe customer service.
 
Beuchat is a good make. There guns are usually well made and reliable. I't's very rare for them to fill up with water. If the shop guy warned you about this sounds like he knew something was wrong.

The guns are easy to strip down. The muzzle is sealed into the tube with simple o-rings as is the trigger unit. Usually one screw/bolt holds them in place. Check out the seals/o-rings and replace if needed.

As a last reort you can fill the tube with expanded foam as Chef Al says or use pieces of rigid foam or even cork. Be better to fix it properly though.
