well on monday september first went out to green lake the vis was pretty bad. i dove down under a pontoon and saw a nice carp but he was about 1 foot away from my face when i saw him and swam away so i came up and went back down saw him swim away and shot and had him on for about 30 seconds but some how he got off. i was mad but it was such bad vis my brother and family wanted to go swimming instead

Yeah- green lake is going to be fairly bad till about October- you should try Sheboygan/Lake Mich- Vis should be alot better.

ya we where but it was really windy and seeing i am 15 i have hardly any say it is what my dad and siblings want to do over me wanting to spearfish. it sucks but i get my license soon and then i can drive myself!

Getting my license was a hugely liberating moment in my spearfishing life. I wasn't quite as bad off as you though, seeing as how I had an older brother and friends that were willing to drive and go on trips before then. See if you can get some of your friends involved, it will make those trips more feasible, and cost efficient.
