Hay All

I busted my Sea tech Gabbiano rubbers in the summer when I was taking a fish off of my girl friends spear and just knocked my loaded rubber.... Bang!!

The try cut RA spear nicked my 20mm rubber and as it was under pressure is destroyed it.

So trying to find somewhere I can get sea tech 20mm rubber in the USA.

Tried Spearguns by Spearo uk ltd finest supplier of speargun, monofins, speargun and freediving equipment I did a order of lots of goodies including the 20mm

Waited two months and nothing.... sent many emails, phone calls, PMs and even sent a face book message witch I felt bad about and no NOTHING!

Never had ANY problem with them before and always been 100% top notch.

I did get a full refund though but no explanation. I was willing to place the order again with Dave but still no answer.... Is he still in business?

Thanks guys

Hello! If there is not possibility to get seatec, try Spetton 19mm, a lot of power and you can get them from Florida, Spetton-Usa Catalog. Hope it will help.

The importer and distributor for Seatec products in the USA is Aaron Crist.
You may try to contact him through Crist Spears - Home or send him a message through Spearboard (his nickname is azspearo on that forum).
Hope this helps.

Just that nothing else fits the screws!

Jimy these is quite strange, as I've used my Seatec guns either with Seatec, H. Dessault, Omer, Top Sub, Effesub and Devoto rubbers, which all fit the screws.
I suspect (only my suspect) that your gun's muzzle mounts the wider fittings for 20mm screws, instead of the regular 16mm (early seatec production now discontinued).
So my question is: is there just a slight difference between rubber/muzzle threads, OR is the muzzle hole way muich wider than the band screws?
If so (much wider) you can make 2 things: get hold of rubbers with 20mm screws (Omer still makes them), or replace the band holder of your muzzle with a 16mm type. :head
But it's just my suspect...

Excuse me Jimy if you don't reply my above questions I won't be able to help. And I really do care to help you mate!

Sorry mate. I really appreciate it though.

All of the thread are far off fitting. Have tried omer 20mm and same.

I even tried to buy a thingy to measure the holes or screw so I could answer you question better.

Kind of got frustrated and just trying the above link. Was actually hopeful you could have a look at and and see what you think as you are so knowledgeable on these things plus a seatech gabbiano user.

Thanks again spaghetti
