Well, it would appear that the 2011 season has kicked off and there has been a few mentions of club dives/meets so........

A bit short notice, but does anybody fancy going out either tomorrow night or Thursday?

Not sure where, Rigstead or Newtons Cove. I believe we have easterlies. I am not sure how protected Newtons Cove will be, there should be a load of Spider crabbs there if people are into it.

Up for ideas from the more experienced.

Cesar & I are going to Newtons Cove tonight(Tuesday). May hope to get there for around 6pm-ish if anyone is interested.

What pub are you going to after? If you don't know now, post it on here when you get to one, if we haven't already met up.

I am not sure of the name, but it's proba bly going to be the one about 100m from the carpark in the Brewers Quay. We have been before, the large one on the left when you walk down & turn the corner.

Just checked & it says it is closed, probably txt when there.

Newtons Cove was Ok-ish, wasn't great though.

Vis was better beneath than above & cleared up a little the further out you went.

I came back with nothing although saw a good sized mullet.

Cesar got a mullet & Smithy had a mullet & decent size bass.

Flipping heck I did not realise the Wessex club is opened!!.
Certainly it was nice to see you again!!!
Spider crabs: yummy yummy for my tommy (like my son says),you guys need to try them honestly.
Yeah viz was quite crappy but Hey we had a nice swim and Paul's bass was very very decent.
For me; definately tuesdays is the best option,I won't be able to attend all but I ll try my best.
New guys superwelcome! and see you soon.

Andy count me in for a dawn dive, but a bit of notice would be good, so I can plan things around it as sometimes my work takes me out of the area.

So I should be finishing at 5:30 on tuesday,anybody up for a dive?,westerly winds,any viz reports at all that can help?.
Also I have next thursday off so keen to go either morning or afternoon,anybody interested?
