Anyone can who have made an wooden laminate speargun about 100cm and remembers how much epoxy that was needed to the task including the coating??

i can choose from 0,5l and 1,2 liters

I already bought the 1,2 litre to be on safe side!

Check this: that's very interesting.
You can buy a speargun building kit that is basically a semi-readymade gun. The kit includes gun barrell with rail and hole for bands (all you have to do is shape the barrell), handle (grossly cut to shape your own custom), trigger mech and resin. All for 120 euro.
All you have to do is shape it and assemble. I think it's quite cool: it saves the hard part of the job (cutting wood laminates et cetera) and leaves to you the fun of customizing your own gun. ARBABRICO |Arbatec

I think you could easily build a gun with only a 1/2 ltr but you would need to be careful, better to have plenty - I buy by the 4.5ltr.
Val that is a great way to go & I will pay the postage rofl get him one for Xmas!

hello it depends
You have to think first on several points.
is it a euro gun or a American one.?
Shape, narrow or wide ?.
How many pieces of wood?
Is it going to be laminated with carbon or not ?
what should be coating scheme , how many layers?
Handle is going to be made of wood or is going to be a commercial gun adapted ?
what is the ratio between resin and hardener?
So has you can see you have a lot to think 1 st.
normally 0,5 Lt would the job on a simple wooden gun
you should have 0,5 Lt + 0,25 Lt of harder, also you have to see if the resin is UV proof, if not you have to add a polyurethane coat
i hope so many questions only for the resin don´t make you abandon the project
