Does anyone know of a beavertail clip that is heavy duty, my Yazbeck failed the first day out.

Jason

Any idea why it failed? I had a problem with the screws being loose on mine, but after tightening them down, I never had a problem again.

The Ellios tails just have a small bar atached to a cord that gets pulled through a hole to lock it... unbreakable for the most part.

Mine has lasted well, sometimes a bit hard to get completely through the hole. They are sometimes called "frogs" although I usually call it a toggle (like on a duffel coat).

Yeah mine are still good too. They are difficult to close/open with gloves on though.

Mother nature invented the solution to this problem over 100 million years ago. Velcro works great and is an easy add on.

Parts of that statement are probably true, especially "Velcro" and "100 million".... the latter being the amount of money Mr. Velcro made rofl
