Hey,

I have holes / small tears under the arms of my sub marine suite, is open cell on the inside and nylon stiched on the outside.

I have usued aquasure on it and the stuff is awful it causes bigger rips ot appear between the aquasure hardended glue and the neoprene. It seems from other posts that picasso glue is very good.

Does anyone know where I can get some in the UK?

Should I cut out the old glue with a knife and build up some layers with the picasso stuff?

And advise woud be great.

Cheers

Tim

Ask Dave a.k.a. UK spearo, as he has a lot of experience in wetsuit matters and is based in Uk. I have used Picasso Black Magic and it seems to work but I am sure there are other alternatives out there.

probably not what you want to hear, but if you've used Aquasure you have basically buggered it.
Having said that, if a suit is splitting under the arms it is at the end of its useful life anyway.
Something like the Picasso glue is ok for sticking neoprene together, but you cant use it to fill gaps. Aquasure is the only thing that will do that, but it is a last ditch "get to the end of the season" type repair
