Hello everyone. I am wondering how many people actually use wetsuit lubricants and not just non ocean friendly hair conditioner???

If the water/air temp is right, I also use sea water. It's only chilly for a little bit if you have enough practice putting on the suit. I have some skin issues, so I opted for a mix of baby oil/water in a spray bottle for when the temps are a bit too chilly. I make sure to wipe all the oil out of the suit after diving and before rinsing the suit.

Best stuff I ever used is "Suitslip", designed just for wetsuit lube, supposed to be good for neoprene. Google the name and you can find where to get it.

SuitSlip is fantastic. I've been using it too.

Maybe I should have bought some extra, though. The www.speargearshop.com site where I got it before is in default & pending shutdown on GoDaddy.

That is BAD news! Sven is a good guy and suitslip a very good product. I hope he can sell the rights to somebody so it will stay in production. Till then, nobody gets to borrow any of mine.

+1 on the suitslip it cost a bit to get it shipped here but its good stuff. I now use Voya Store - Body Products the conditioner from these guys. Made from seaweed and I know the owners are local guys done good.
