Hi I've just bought my first 2 piece wetsuit and I'm looking for some advice.

When I tried it on in the shop I was given some soapy water in a sprayer to wet down the inside to get get the suit on and off, still had to have some help getting the first one it tried on off!

What do you guys use as lube? I would rather use something natural rather than soap/conditioner. I think I've seen bio shampoo in a camping store? Can fish detect the soap in the water?

I'm hoping the new suit will help with the motion sickness I've been getting while spearing in my winter surf suit, I think the neck is to tight and causing me problems? Went in yesterday in my surf suit near Lands End, the was abit of swell and surge. I lasted and hour before feeling seasick..

Cheers

Ross

Which suit do you have? I have recently changed suits from a Mares Instinct to an Omer Blackmoon (same as Camu 3d) and have only needed water to help get the new one on.

I use unscented aqueous cream. 2-3 tablespoons in 500ml of warm water.
The warm water simply helps the cream dissolve quicker. I use all of the 500ml each time I put the suit on.

I use J-lube, it's a veterinary lube. It comes in powder form and you just add water, it turns in to snot, but is extremely slippery. It's quite difficult to get hold of, I ended up buying it from a "special interest" website (well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

J lube? Sounds interesting! Think I might try the aqueous cream first though..

Yes, I found it on the same site that also does lubes called Fist!, Slam Dunk, Boy Butter, Hot Pink, Jack Jelly and one other that I'm not prepared to name on here as I do enjoy being a member of this forum!

If you are going to go looking for it, then clearly explain to the missus what you're doing before hand, or delete your browsing history afterwards!

Here's where I got mine......

J Lube - J Lube personal lube anal and vaginal lubricant

I have tried a few things including "specific" lube from Omer but ended up sticking with conditioner and water - big cheap bottle from Aldi and very slippery.
